Deutsch Connector Reference Guide
Here is some help in understanding the Deutsch numbering system. We will use a three contact Plug, DT06-03S, in the example below.

Polarizing position for
Eight and Twelve contact Plug and Receptacle Housings are available in four different keyed configurations and are identified by distinct colors for each key position as follows:
Key Position A - Gray
Key Position B - Black
Key Position C - Green
Key Position D - Brown
Special Modifications are indicated by four additional numbers/letters and, if any, indicate options. For example: E004 = Black.
A complete Receptacle assembly is comprised of one receptacle housing, one wedgelock and the required number of pins. Rear Silicone seal is included.
A complete Plug assembly is comprised of one plug housing, one wedgelock and the required number of sockets. Rear and Internal Silicone seals are included.
Sealing plugs are available to prevent contaminants from entering unused openings in the rear of plugs and receptacles .
2, 3, 4 and 6 contact connectors are available as Black or Gray. Black and Gray Plug and Receptacle Housings are interchangeable (except 8 and 12 contact connectors).
AWG stands for American Wire Gauge.
